Just file this under Things I Really Didn't Think I Could Make But Hey Look It's Not Half Bad file. I started it Thursday night from a pattern out of this book, wasn't crazy about the way it was coming together, picked it back up Friday night and finished it in 3 hours. April and I picked up this fabric a few months ago intending to make it into a skirt, but, alas, then I grew:) I like the fabric, but don't love it. I can't wait to try it again with fabric that I really love.

Oh, and yes, the button is missing. I didn't have one that I liked, and, honestly, I don't think the loop is long enough anyway, but if that's the biggest mistake that came out of this, I'll take it!

That looks GREAT! I forgot to tell you, the quilt shop I went to on Saturday had some really AMAZING buttons.
You are a GREAT seamstress!! You learned so fast!
